Established in 1998, Ramya Horticulture (Pvt) Ltd. Specializes in exporting rooted plants, un-rooted cuttings, cut foliage, and tissue culture-raised plants.
Our Walpita nursery is strategically located to provide optimal climatic conditions for the production of tropical ornamental plants. With a production capacity of 10 million cut foliage stems, 3 million rooted plants, and exceptional un-rooted cuttings, we ensure year-round propagation. The tissue culture production facility at our nursery can produce 1 million micro-propagated plants.
We pride ourselves on delivering customized, high-quality products that meet customer requirements, along with attractive custom-designed receptacles. Professionalism is key in our business, and we never compromise on product or service quality. Accredited as a Global G.A.P company in 2008, we adhere to internationally accepted criteria for safe and sustainable production practices, including worker welfare and responsible resource usage. Incorporation of Ramya Horticulture (Pvt) Ltd, as a BOI-approved entity by founder Chairperson Mrs. Ramya Weerakoon diversifying the interests of Ramya Holdings.
Our first nursery in Walpita, Divulapitiya is where it all began - our passion for horticulture and commitment to delivering superior quality products to our customers.
The first export order to South Korea was a groundbreaking moment in our history, a testament to the trust that the company has built globally as a supplier of horticultural and floricultural products.
We expanded with a floriculture nursery at Wellawa coconut plantation, to offer a diversified product range to our customers.
We expanded our offerings with a floriculture nursery at Kalugalla coconut estate, providing even more plant variety.
Our Walpita Nursery is proud to be Global Gap accredited for our commitment to quality and sustainability.
We commissioned a Tissue Culture Production Facility at Walpita Nursery, enhancing our plant production capabilities.
We launched the Amari brand with our first retail outlet at Kzone Ja Ela, the first company entering the Sri Lankan retail space as a provider of green solution.
We proudly opened Amari Colombo City Centre, expanding our reach to provide premium plant offerings to the heart of the Sri Lanka's commercial capital.
